Here's EXACTLY what happened the first time I saw The Silver Swindle: I was given two coins to examine and asked to choose either one and to place my initials onto both sides with a Sharpie. I was asked to cup my hands and mix the two coins while the performer turned his back. I was then instructed to place EITHER coin into the performers hand and the other in my own hand.
